Amilton has broad experience in upstream, real estate, asset management, project management, engineering, finance, logistics, security, transportation and human resources. His leadership experience includes Directorship, Chief Executive Officer, General and Operations Management.
In oil & gas, Amilton had a succession of leadership roles for ExxonMobil in Angola and in the USA. In the upstream operations he was responsible for the overall logistics for Block15 in Angola managing aviation, marine,
yards, offices, warehouse, transportation and housing for onshore and offshore operations.
Amilton served as General Manager for the EagleHills / Emaar real estate investment fund in Angola.
Most recently, and prior to joining ALNG as Executive Manager, he was General Manager of SOMG since 2020 and prior to that CEO of Sonangol Imobiliária e Propriedades Limitada (SONIP), where he managed the subsidiary responsible for a global real estate portfolio up to $2.4Billion dollar’s value and the new urban centralities built in Angola up to $4Billion dollar’s value.
In his career, Amilton had the opportunity to manage large scale portfolios with over 1000 employees and contractors, with several million-man hours without incidents.
Amilton graduated in Electrical/Power Systems Engineering from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia, Porto, Portugal and has since completed leadership executive trainings at the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School and at the University of Arizona Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Tania Silva is the CEO of Angola LNG Marketing Ltd (“ALM”), a London-based company responsible for the global marketing of LNG from the Angola LNG plant. She also oversees the management of the shipping fleet transporting LNG cargoes and the sale of liquids from the project.
Tania has over 18 years of experience in the Oil and Gas sector, primarily within the Sonangol group (the Angolan State Oil Company), where she has held several positions.
She began her career in the Business Development and Strategy Department of Sonagás ER – Sonangol Gás e Energias Renováveis, S.A. (formerly Sonangol Gás Natural Limitada). There, she was part of the team involved in the creation of ALM. She was later seconded to ALM, working in various roles, including Senior Analyst in the Planning and Portfolio team, Communications Advisor/HES Manager, and Account Manager in ALM’s Marketing team.
In 2021, Tania returned to Sonangol, joining the project team for the Terminal Oceânico da Barra do Dande, a storage facility for oil products aimed at ensuring the country's strategic reserves. She was subsequently entrusted by the Sonangol Board to lead the Sonangol Group rebranding project.
In July 2022, Tania was appointed Head of Non-Operated Assets for Sonagás ER and Chair of the Senior Review Committee, an advisory committee to the Board of Angola LNG. She held this role until her appointment as CEO of ALM. Tania holds two undergraduate degrees: one in Business Management from Universidade Lusíada de Angola and another in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Manchester. She also has a postgraduate in Global Business from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

Michelle A. LaPoint is the General Manager of ALNG OPCO in Luanda, Angola, a position she has held since July 2025.
Previously, Michelle served as General Manager Asset Development for Chevron Australia in Perth, Australia where she was responsible for Exploration, Subsurface, and Well operations.
She has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility at Chevron, including General Manager Enterprise Digital Delivery in Houston, TX, Operations Support Manager for Cabinda Gulf Oil Company (CABGOC) in Luanda, Angola, Subsurface Manager for the Tahiti Major Capital Projects in the Gulf of Mexico, and Strategic Growth Manager of Western Venezuela.
Michelle joined Chevron in 2002 as a petroleum engineer. She earned her bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from Louisiana State University in 2001.

Josip de Abreu is a senior engineering and executive leader with more than 20 years of experience across engineering projects, oil and gas, and infrastructure development.
He has built extensive experience in Angola’s energy sector, with leadership responsibilities spanning the gas value chain, including upstream, midstream and downstream activities. His expertise includes project development, engineering management, operational coordination, stakeholder engagement, and the delivery of strategically significant energy infrastructure projects.
Josip currently serves in a senior leadership role within Sonangol Gás & Energias Renováveis (Sonagás ER), where he is responsible for the development and coordination of major natural gas and LPG infrastructure initiatives that support Angola’s national energy objectives. His remit includes ensuring alignment with operational safety, regulatory compliance, environmental standards, and commercial efficiency, while working closely with technical partners, operators, and institutional stakeholders.
During his time within the Sonangol Group, Josip has contributed to several important national energy initiatives, including the development of Angola’s Gas Master Plan (PDG), which provides the strategic framework for the country’s gas sector. He has also been involved in the coordination and delivery of key infrastructure projects, including the FALCÃO natural gas distribution project, Gas to Industry initiatives, the Barra do Dande LPG development, LPG rail transport infrastructure, and the rehabilitation of existing LPG facilities.
Prior to joining Sonangol, Josip gained international industry experience through Exxon Mobil’s Angola operations, an engineering role with SOBEK Consulting & Engineering in South Africa, and earlier work with Group Five Limited in infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
Josip holds postgraduate qualifications in Petroleum and Gas Engineering, Engineeringand Environmental Project Management, and a degree in Civil Engineering and Construction Technologies from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa.
